Welcome to the Southern Lab's Beta Club !

We are extremely proud of our past. Since 1934 Beta has set the standard for leadership and service among young people.  The productive present represents each of you currently involved in the Beta program. We can all relate to the present. We can make a difference (here and now) through our positive demonstration of leadership, achievement, outstanding character and service. Ducamus aliis serviendo "Let us lead by serving others."

Beta has always prepared its members for the future and still continues to do so. Its foundation provides building blocks for decision making. Success is within the grasp of our members. It is our hope that you will reach out and fulfill your goals.

We are thankful for the administrators, sponsors (faculty advisors), parents, and outstanding national staff who are willing to give of themselves in order to promote young people through the Beta Club program. They are a contributing factor to the success of this organization.

Junior Beta Club

Club Sponsors:             

Purpose: To promote the ideals of character, service, and leadership among middle and

                  high school students and to encourage academic achievement in all areas.   

Meeting Schedule: 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays

Senior Beta Club

Club Sponsors: Ann Brown, Dorothy Harris, Niakatia LeBlanc

Purpose: The Sr. Beta Club is part of a national organization that stresses character,       

                  leadership, service and academics.

Meeting schedule: Meetings are held once a month or at the discretion of sponsors or

                                  officers.

December – Habitat for Humanity

January – State Convention, Baton Rouge
